Artists talks

Make sure you vist the Tin Sheds Gallery to see the exhibition, BIRD CRY from the Grassy Box Woodlands, a sound and sculpture installation about a vulnerable Australian ecosystem. The artists, Alison Clouston & Boyd, will be giving a half hour talk about their work in the gallery at 12.15pm. For more information on the artists and their work visit www.burragorang.org

Faculty of Veterinary Science
Pet fair

As part of Sydney Uni Live, the University Veterinary Teaching Hospital’s Pet Fair will be held on Saturday 29th August 2009 on the University grounds that surround the Veterinary Faculty precinct.
Attractions include:
- Pet counselling – for pets with animal behaviour problems
- Wildlife and exotic pet displays
- Pet health and information stalls and free pet health checks by supervised senior veterinary students - bring along any type of animal
- Hospital tours
- NSW Police Dog Unit demonstrations
- Cat show including 15 different breeds
- Jumping castle and face painter
- Celebrity vet appearance
When: 10am - 4pm
